(One to Three Year Appointment)
Chemical Engineering

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, demonstrated experience and expertise in the synthesis/characterization of heterogeneous catalysts; experience in syngas chemistry desired but not essential. Senior Postdoc level requires at least two years of related experience.

Responsibilities: Carry out lab-scale experimental research on the catalytic conversion of syngas to higher to higher oxygenates--synthesis/characterization of catalyst and microreactor experiments; publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals; present papers at national/international conferences.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. Application deadline is November 31, 2007, or until candidate is selected.
