Dr. Rice retired to the hills of Tennessee where he built a cottage on Norris Lake in the Woodlake Golf Community. He spends most of his time fishing and nurturing his fruit orchard. He spends a bit of time collaborating with Carl Knopf on new resonant bubble column research. He still cheers for the Tigers in football season.
