ALMN LSU Alumni Association (TOP) Scholarship
  • SAT score of 1460 or ACT of 33 as well as 3.5 GPA; or

  • SAT score of 1410 or ACT of 32 as well as 4.0 GPA; or

  • SAT score of 1410 or ACT of 32 as well as superior GPA is eligible for consideration
  • $2000/year cash award.

  • Opportunity to participate in either the Chancellor's Future Leaders in Research program or to become a Chancellor's Student Aide and earn up to $1500/year working in a campus job.
CNT6 LSU Centennial Award
  • National merit Semifinalists, National Achievement Semifinalists, and National Hispanic Scholars who are designated as Louisiana residents are eligible to receive this award.

  • Louisiana residents with an SAT score of 1320 or ACT of 30 as well as a 3.0 GPA are eligible to receive this award.
  • $1000/year cash award.

  • Opportunity to become a Chancellor's Student Aide and earn $1550/year working in a campus job.
CSAP Chancellor's Student Aide
  • Students must work to earn these funds
  • $1550/year.
X655 Golden Oaks Award
  • Nonresident students selected as recipients of Chancellor's Alumni, LSU Alumni Association, or LSU Distinguished Freshman Awards receive this award.

  • Nonresident National Merit Semifinalists are eligible to receive this award.

  • Nonresident students with an SAT score of 1320 or ACT of 30 as well as a 3.0 GPA are eligible to receive this award.
  • Exemption from the payment of tuition and nonresident fees in the amount of $6225.

  • Opportunity to become a Chancellor's Student Aide and earn $1550/year working in a campus job.

Tiger Scholars
  • NOTE: THERE ARE THREE LEVELS OF THE TIGER SCHOLARS AWARD.

  • The award will be applied to nonresident fees. Amounts vary based on academic credentials and standardized test scores.

  • Nonresident students with an SAT score of 1170 or ACT of 26 as well as a 3.0 GPA are eligible to receive this award
  • $7500/year applied toward the nonresident fee.

  • $5000/year applied toward the nonresident fee.

  • $2500/year applied toward the nonresident fee.
LFMA Louisiana Freshman Merit Award
  • Louisiana residents with an SAT score between 1210 and 1310; or ACT of 27, 28 or 29 as well as a 3.0 GPA are eligible to receive this one-year award.
  • $1000 cash award. This is a one-year, one-time award.
  Chemical Engineering
Scholarships
  • You must apply to be considered
  • Passing grade in ChE 2171
  • 3.0 GPA or above in ChE courses
  • 3.0 Overall GPA
  • Minimum one semester at LSU
  • Full-time Chemical Engineering Major
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Currently enrolled in ChE Course(s)

Based on some special needs of some students, additional scholarships may be available for GPA's below 3.0

 

Louisiana residents that receive the LSU Alumni Association (TOP 100) and Centennial Award should also receive the state's TOPS scholarship which covers most tuition and fees and will likely include cash stipend.
