General and Area-of-Concentration
Requirements for ChE Curriculum
2007-2008
Chemical engineering students may select an area of concentration
in biomolecular, environmental, or materials. Or, they may choose
to obtain a chemical engineering degree without an area of concentration.
If you choose an area of concentration, you will take a series of
five elective courses related to this area during your junior or
senior year. This will not add to your total number of classes;
students not choosing a concentration will also take five electives,
but will choose from a broader range of elective courses.
