Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics of Environmental Process
|
Introductory chemical thermodynamic concepts extended to heterogenous
equilibrium, dilute solutions, surfaces and colloids of significance
in environmental engineering processes; chemical reaction kinetics
concepts applied to the environment; applications to waste treatment
process design, property estimations for elucidating the fate
and transport of chemicals in the environment.
(Not open to chemical engineering majors. Credit will not
be given for both this course and ChE 4190.)
